Why We Made the Change

Could we have kept things the same? Absolutely. But that’s not how we operate.

Anthros was founded on a mission to push the boundaries of seated comfort and support — and that means listening, learning, and always improving. V2 is the result of that commitment to our community.

Optimized Cushion Design

Using thousands of data points from customer feedback and pressure mapping, we’ve made slight modifications to our cushion contours to:

Further decrease peak pressure zones (from low to lowest)
Better accommodate a wider variety of body shapes and sizes
Lower seat-to-floor height
Provide sacral/coccyx relief
Reduce fatigue and enhance seated stability over long sessions

Waterfall Front Edge

We’ve added a gentle waterfall contour to the front of the seat cushion — designed to reduce pressure on the front of the thighs when in a relaxed, tilted position. It’s a small shift with a big impact on lower limb comfort.
