TAPERED UPPER BACK SUPPORT
The upper back support can be adjusted to meet the mid/upper back, supporting an upright optimal posture. The tapered shape allows shoulders to be pulled back in sitting to maintain optimal posture when actively working.
ADJUSTABLE 2-PART BACK SYSTEM
Anthros has designed an adjustable 2-part back system that can support most individual body types. The low back pelvis support works with the upper back to promote an upright posture reducing the risks of poor posture- back pain, neck pain, shoulder pain, hip pain and more.
4D ARM SUPPORTS
Anthros has designed cushioned, 4D arm supports that can be adjusted to support different postures and positions.
BASE
The 4-spoke base non swivel option prevents caster interference with the feet, while adding to the beauty of the overall design. It moves smoothly and turns as a unit, reducing the incidence of bruised ankles and scuffed shoes.
LOWER BACK PELVIS SUPPORT
The patented lower back pelvis support captures and stabilizes the pelvis, the foundation of high performance sitting. By doing this, the natural curves of the spine are kept intact. When you support the pelvis, the lumbar region is naturally supported with it and the postural muscles can relax.
CUSHION
The contoured premium foam cushion with pressure relieving cutouts in the rear well displaces pressure away from the sit bones. The result is greater pressure distribution when sitting upright, decreasing pain, and improving comfort and stability when sitting for long periods of time.
SEAT HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT
Anthros recommends adjusting seat to floor height as it relates to the workspace rather than simply adjusting to get feet on the floor. We provide a footrest for people 5’6” and under to ensure parallel leg position and optimal foot support at the workspace.
TILT
Tilt is a resting posture, where the sitting alignment is maintained while the whole system tilts rearward. Tilt reduces the pressure of gravity on the body while maintaining the neutral seated posture without inducing friction or sliding on the seated surface. The result is a resting position that doesn’t compromise posture or focus.
